No. MakerSquare uses a flat-fee model. You pay tuition, you own everything you build. No percentage of future income, no hidden obligations.
$1,000 deposit locks your seat and is applied toward your tuition. Remaining balance is due by June 22 for the July cohort.
API costs during the program run $15-30 total (Claude, OpenAI Whisper, ElevenLabs). You pay these directly to the providers. Housing is separate if you're coming from out of town.
MakerSquare is a professional training program, not a degree-granting institution. Many alumni deduct tuition as a business education expense. Consult your tax professional.
Full refund (minus $1,000 deposit) up to 14 days before program start. 50% refund up to Day 1. No refund after the program begins.
