AI training for project managers that takes the status chasing off your plate.

A project manager’s AI problem is specific. The information you need already exists, scattered across Slack, email, the tracker and last week’s meetings. The job is collecting it, reconciling it, and rewriting it for four different audiences.

Generic AI training teaches you to paste all of that into a chatbot. The training worth paying for teaches you to connect AI to where the information lives, so the first draft is waiting for you and your time goes to the calls only you can make.

What AI training for project managers should actually teach.

Notice that almost none of it is about prompts. It is about plumbing, review steps, and knowing which drafts can go out on their own.

Connections

Getting AI into your systems

Composio connects Claude to Gmail, Slack and 200+ other tools without integration code, so status comes from the source instead of from your memory.

Our curriculum: Week 2, Monday
Meetings

Turning meetings into action items

Whisper transcribes the recording, Claude pulls out decisions, owners and dates, and the result goes where the team will see it.

Week 2, Tuesday
Portals

Data from tools with no API

Client portals, vendor sites and permitting systems often have no clean export. Playwright lets a script log in, read the page and record what changed.

Week 2, Tuesday
Data

One place for project data

A Supabase table and a dashboard that the team can read without asking you. Status lives in one place instead of in four spreadsheets.

Week 1, Thursday
Consistency

The same report format every week

A Claude Skill holds your report structure and tone, so Friday’s update reads like last Friday’s no matter who runs it.

Week 1, Thursday
Control

Review gates and data safety

Which drafts go out automatically and which wait for your approval. What client data is allowed near a model. How to test that the output is right.

Week 2, Thursday

Four builds that take back your Friday afternoon.

Examples scoped to what the curriculum covers. In the program you build on your own projects and tools.

Agent

Friday status drafter

Pulls what closed and what slipped from your tracker, plus the relevant Slack threads. Drafts the executive version and the team version, then holds both for your approval.

Meeting-to-actions

Upload a recording. Whisper transcribes it, Claude extracts decisions, owners and due dates, posts them to the project channel and logs each one as a row.

Risk and change log with a front door

A simple site where anyone can file a risk or change request. Entries land in a database, Claude flags the ones with no owner or a date already past, and a dashboard shows what is open.

Portal watcher

A script checks a client or permitting portal every morning and posts only what changed since yesterday. Nobody has to log in to look.

A project manager from Cohort 2, in her words.

“I could take a real-world problem, build a solution for it, and do it in two weeks — something that felt unfathomable before.”

How to choose AI training as a project manager.

  1. Separate the certificate from the capability.Several bodies now sell AI credentials for project managers, and a credential can help on a résumé. Ask the provider what you will have running at work on the Monday after.
  2. Ask about PDUs before you pay.If you need professional development units for a certification renewal, get it in writing from the provider that the course qualifies. Do not assume.
  3. Prefer the pattern over one vendor’s AI button.Your company may change trackers in two years. Training that teaches you how to connect AI to any system with an API or a login carries over. A tour of one product’s AI features does not.
  4. Make sure the review step is taught. An automated update that goes to a client with a wrong date costs more than the hour it saved. Good training covers where a human signs off.
  5. Count how many people need it.If three or more people on the PMO want this, a private session built on your own tracker usually beats sending individuals to a public course one at a time.

AI training for project managers, answered.

Do project managers need technical skills for AI training?

No. You need to know your projects, your stakeholders and where the hours go. The tools are directed in plain English, and an instructor is in the room when something breaks.

Which project management tools does this work with?

If a tool has an API, Composio can usually reach it; it connects Claude to 200+ apps, including Gmail and Slack. If it only has a web login, Playwright can read it. In a private team session we build on the tools you already use.

How much does AI training for project managers cost?

A seat in the 2-week cohort is $3,999. Private workshops and custom programs for teams are quoted per engagement, depending on team size and length. See corporate training.

Will AI replace project managers?

We do not think so. AI is good at collecting status and drafting updates. Deciding what to cut when a timeline slips, and handling the stakeholder who will not like it, still needs a person.

Bring the report you rewrite every week.
We will help you retire it.

Book a short call. Tell us about your projects and your team, and we will suggest the right format: a private workshop or a seat in Cohort 3.
